Photographer Philip Toledano has stepped away from his normal medium and has delved into the world of novelty gift shop items, but with a more political twist. In “America: The Gift Shop,” Toledano has created a something that reflect the policies and practices of the George W. Bush administration and some of the horrific happenings that have been incurred during the last 8 years in America and abroad. I wish to refrain from getting into any sort of political discussion, but do yourself a favor and check it out for yourself.
