Comic book companies are no stranger to the concept of collaborations, having produced crossover editions where their heroes come face to face with each other for years now. And since the previous collaboration between Marvel and New Era in the UK was a success for both parties, the two companies have now formally announced an extended licensing deal to cover the whole of Europe until 2010. The first crossover products to drop will be a limited series of Incredible Hulk 59Fifties timed to coincide with the new Hulk film coming out later this year. There are 4 styles in total and the caps will be previewed in New Era’s flagship London store for two weeks prior to their release on 16th May. Here’s an exclusive sneak peek at the comic strip collage version that features classic images from vintage Hulk comics (comic nerds will spot the Incredible Hulk #1 cover in particular). While this might not be the most discreet design ever, that’s hardly the point when it’s based on a comic about a giant rampaging angry green monster is it?
