Once again, Gustave Toudouze Square (Paris 9th district) hosted the "Pain o chokolat Block Party", a real New-York style village fair. What began five years ago, the members of PainOchoKolat crew have been transforming their fetish to the square on street concerts that mix together very diverse genres. BBQ, paper lanterns, sodas, beers, and good sound. The line-up for this year’s edition was particularly insane with Hugh Coltman and Spleen, blues and afro-funk beat; Mr. Wix and MC Lyrical Tie, warming up the audience; Tez, maybe currently the most impressive European beat-boxer; Mister Keziah Jones, who we don’t need to introduce ; and Keith Murray, New York rapper from the Def Squad, who probably burnt out some eardrums all this insanity packed into one video clip, check it out!
