Over the past couple of years Los Angeles has reestablished itself as one of the leading cultural and fashion centrals of the world. The torch is always passed around amongst cities around the world such as London, Paris, New York and Tokyo but recently the local brands and even international brands have been flourishing in the City of Angels.
I’m sure that in the next couple of days the rest of the team will introduce themselves and their cities but I’ll start this off to get it rolling...
I help Adam in covering most what happens around the Los Angeles area. With this little side blog I hope to contribute a few little glimpses at what i find interesting around town. I feel that the scene is more than just the latest products and party pictures (excuse us that we often cover these anyways.) I’m going to try my best to show a little bit of the life and culture behind the products and boozes.
To start it off, the other day i stopped by Brooklyn Projects to do some last minute Christmas shopping. While i was there Dom was finishing up building a limited edition Obay x Fuji track bike. The colorway and details are pretty nice even though I'm usually not a fan of to much branding on a bike. Dom was so proud of his latest ride that he put it up at the front of his store on display. Everybody who knows Dom knows that he's a huge BMXer with a proven past both as a rider and and collector. I always knew it was only a matter of time before he jumped on the new trend.....
The bike is availible for sale now at Brooklyn Projects. Please take it away from him!! haha
Happy Holidays to all.
Peace
Elijah
