Folk A/W 08 Collection

Posted on 07 June 2008

Hanon Shop have released the latest A/W 2008 ‘Folk’ collection this week. There’s a number of great garments amongst the new collection, inparticular the undergarment knits, and shirts.

"Folk was created in 2001 by Cathal McAteer with the view to create a menswear collection that his friends would like to wear. Featuring subtle and simple detailing, the Folk range steers clear of the trends of the time and puts its own style out there adding a little difference to the wearers wardrobe.

Much of the design time is spent on fabric selection with recent collections including Japanese double face cotton shirting, carbon finished jerseywear and Bolivian alpaca knitwear. This combined with detailing such as pointelle, textured tweed stitching and small touches such as corozo nut buttons and Folk Braille zip pullers help define collections that spans shirting, knitwear, wovens, jersey and accessories."

Check out the entire collection here and a preview of the highlights below.
