Nice vintage western Lone Star Hatters beaver felt hat purchased at Ralph Lauren RRL store in Malibu Creek. Lots of unique hand-picked vintage items including ranch wear, some nice turquoise accessories as well a great selection of one-of-a-kind, perfectly beat-up, motorcycle boots. Ralph Lauren's RRL branch is certainly our favorite division of the brand.
Missoni "Mare" string bikini purchased at Ron Herman's on Melrose. This "Barely-there" bikini is simply perfection. The copper colored hardware, at the end of each string, has a nice weight to it, and is stamped with "Missoni" in very small lettering. I chose the lesser known "polka-dots" over the Missoni signature herringbone pattern. Nevertheless, all the different fabrics & prints looked gorgeous.
Cuisinart Mini-Prep Processor purchased at Crate & Barrel, in the lovely Los Angeles Grove. Essential kitchen appliance for anyone who likes to cook. Make your own pesto, cookie dough and baby food. Need I say more?
Minnetonka Hi Fringe Tramper Boot purchased online (minnetonkamoccasinshop.com). Going on my fourth pair, by the end of the year I will probably own every style of Minnetonka "fringe moccasin" (in black only please). Perfect boot. Comfortable, well made & wallet-friendly prices (all under 100$). I love Minnetonka.
Baby Castle.
Actually, Little Tikes "Magic Doorbell Playhouse". Only available online at Toy'R'Us.com. Shipping cost was as much as the playhouse. I tried googling a discount promo code. (I don't think Baby Castles are tax deductible... ) There's no code out there. But, it was well worth it. It only took me about 15 minutes to unpack & build this thing. Very easy to assemble. The screw holes are a little screwy, but aside from that, we are very happy with our mail-order baby kingdom, complete with a cordless play-phone & a nice built-in fireplace.
