Suitman / NYCC / Tin

A good friend, Young Kim, is visiting town in preparation of a big exhibiton to be held at the end of the month.  I'm quite excited for him and his fellow artist participants.   Young and I have been working together on a small piece, and we'll try to get it ready for the exhibition as well.  Young is known for his alter-ego the "Suitman", our task is to turn him into a vinyl figure.   I enjoy this type of projects.

Back in the studio, we are all going crazy for next week's New York Comic Con....  It has been 2 years since our last New York showing, it will be quite interesting to see how far the NYCC has come, and it will be great to meet up with some old friends.   April 18th to 20th, at Jarvit Center.  Hope you can make it out there.

Paid Leon's new shop a visit, the LOOMOO Shop, our new account in Shanghai.   What's interesting about the shop is that half of the space in there is filled with tin-toys, a blast from the past stuff.   People have fun seeing and playing with toys that they used to have in their childhood.  We are talking about China here, they didn't get to play with GI Joes and Barbies in the '80s.  It would be interesting to see how the old world toys and new world toys mesh together in one shop.
