Shanghai is definitely a hot spot for corporate events nowadays, Shanghai and Beijing both.  Last night, we saw the launch of a new collaboration between 2 giants; Adidas and Diesel Jeans.  The launch event was held at 1933, a newly developed venue.  I have wrote about this place before.  The show include your usual rundown of music band, famous DJs and super model catwalk.   Great music was played by Steve Aioki.  His sister was involved on the catwalk as well.  Sam Lee from Hong Kong also participated in the catwalk and he sure knows how to put a spin on that walk.   All in all a fun night.  However, what lies under all the glamorous lights was an important move by the German sportswear company, aligning itself with Diesel to release a collection of co-branded deniem line, in hoping it will be as successful as the Puma x Evisu collaboration in recent years.
