Chet Zar, has this overwhelming ability to resurrect the dark side of life in his work, with his deep connection to horror movies and dark imagery. Culminating in a career as a special effects make up artist, designer and sculptor for the motion picture industry, designing and creating creatures and make up and special effects for such films as, “The Ring”, “Hellboy”, “Planet of the Apes” and the critically acclaimed music videos for the art metal band, Tool.

Recently “macabre genius” Chet Zar upgraded to a larger format printer, allowing him to finally create larger prints of some of his popular pieces, Black Magick and I Want You.
