These symbolic beauties are what many people envision before visiting California, images of shimmering coastline, perfect weather and sunset strolls. Visions you're more likely to see in areas such as Newport Beach, Seal Beach, Dana Point, and Corona Del Mar. It is hard to get a landscape shot in these surf town's without a palm tree in it. Not only are they everywhere but they attract rats and other mammals. The only truly native palm is the California or Washington palm, the rest are imported. Things aren't always the way they seem, this reflection is true throughout California.

While investors worry about the global economy, Jeffery here is sleeping after a long night of drugs and alcohol. Some may say that this path to self-destruction is a grave example of the countries current state, I on the other hand disagree. If Jeff wants to take up the whole sidewalk so that others have to walk around him, then that's fine by me. Sooner or later he will wake up and once again continue towards the inevitable, death.

For the past few days we have only seen light rain and mostly cloudy sky's, the South land depends on the brilliance of our local television weather reporters for our 5 day forecast.

These fortune tellers known as meteorologists are paid to provide us with weather predictions throughout the South land. Covering Orange County, San Bernardino and Ventura County. A mixture of combined talent and commitment, these 3 women provide us with in-depth analysis on the weather  (entertainment) and can effectively deliver accurate (unknown) conditions.

Consistent rainfall has been far from guaranteed, over the weekend I hope we experience heavier falls.
