Partly cloudy weather conditions here in Los Angeles means one of two things, cleaner streets and the possibility of a free car wash. The wonderful photo above is a combination of smog and overcast sky. Both help the people of Los Angeles relax and rejuvenate.
Here in the sun-soaked City of Angels, the Mexicans along Alvarado contribute to a confortable lifestyle for any ones needs. Today for example, if you had misplaced or forgotten your umbrella, you can rest easy because these entrepreneurs are always a step ahead. Winter temperatures, 65°F (18°C) on average, are cooler in the early morning and warmer by mid-day. This means I probably wont be able to buy corn on the streets tonight from one of the many street vendors, which I will address in a later post.
Take it all in, Los Angeles provides the most exclusive sanctuary for the senses.
Around the clock, the people of Los Angeles can assist you with just about anything. Daily at Mario's Shell on 4th Street, this fine gentlemen provides resourceful assistance at no cost by opening the door. In under 20 minutes he will make more money then the inside cashier makes in an hour. He will probably be there tomorrow so stop by, say hello, and have him get the door for you. I don't advise you to shake is hand though, he seemed to have something wrong with his eyes and insisted on rubbing them.
So what is this? This is one of the spots in the city where they have been shooting a movie called, Hotel for Dogs. I know what you're thinking, another Hollywood blockbuster? No. This straight to DVD film should be in your local video store this summer.
By the end of the day those cloudy weather conditions cleared up, the transients came out of hiding and Los Angeles returned to the vacation dream that it is.
