Lately there has been a lot of discussions surrounding the state of our industry or our sandbox world that seems bigger thanks to the beautiful world wide web. Why is this that when things are going so well those so close to the melting pot like to start the trail of thought in regards of decline, decay, doom and horrible fate of our sandbox and people who are building sand castles inside of it. In short why take a piss where you live? Is it because everyone suddenly woke up and decided that being excited, happy, supportive, positive, is not "cool" anymore? Can we no longer tell the difference between art and the constant need to make bread? Or we are finally maturing and become more and more aware of what we surround ourselves with? Does what we wear, listen to, look at, buy, collect, care for, defy us? Well yes, it does or maybe doesn't and we just superficial. Trends go on and change but we stay the same and those who come after us will have their own better bigger closets to fill and credit cards to max out. Why is this when i look back at not such distant past i think shit used to be so much better and cooler and had more to it. Did we all silently agree to stun the growth and then suddenly let  <for  the for the lack of better word>  culture become free and now we are sad because of it? Does having easier then ever access to limited edition hard to find <insert product here> is easier then ever to a certain degree. Has exclusivity and "the new luxury" become daily life and hunt is not exciting anymore....? Fresh blood will come and we will feast once more just like when a prized Bathing Ape t-shirt from Hong Kong Members only Busy Works store or W)Taps Yellow Label hand screened  t-shirt meant and represented something. Get inspired and get that spark back and don't look around to copy & paste shit even though all the great new is the forgotten old.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
