Biography

Out of love and necessity rather than profit and novelty, the Patta store opened it's doors in 2004. Situated right in the city heart of Amsterdam, Patta literally became the center of attention by bringing new excitement to the Dutch sneaker and streetwear scene, making unknown or hard-to-find brands and items accessible for anyone interested. More ideas, concepts, product and collaborations with various brands and companies are soon to follow, as growth and expansion continues...

Came across this cool little video via Okayplayer.
Rich Medina is a son, father, DJ, poet, producer, collector, promotor, a&r, actor, comedian, traveller, smoker, entrepeneur, connaisseur, official street cat and all that other good stuff. I met this dude in the 90's, played some gigs and radioshows with him and been running into him a couple times a year ever since. You know how they always say "such and such is one of the coolest cats you'll ever meet"? Big Rich is definitely one of them. Check it...
