If you're around the two one fifth you can check out more of his works alongside other artists, as 222gallery hosts a collaborative show curated by Ed Looram featuring Gina Triplett and Matt Curtius, Jeremy Dean, Luke Barber Smith, Noah Butkus, Robin Cameron, Sam Friendman and Eric. All seven participants are prolific, hard-working contributors to the ever-growing color-shocked young art-barf scene, a group that already wears its cultural influences like gigantic gold chains. You’re not going to find anything totally unexpected up in here (surprise: these dudes like graffiti, burritos and hardcore), but you are going to find some serious production value and a whole lot of American garbage culture blowout. If you like your art professional and serious, keep walking - but if you want your art to get up in your face, have beer breath and maybe shove you, this is where it’s at this First Friday.
