SF Zushi Puzzle

Posted by Havana Joe on January 02, 2008 9:32 PM | Email

Randomness... One of the best sushi spots in the Bay is this spot called Zushi Puzzle off Lombard.  Stumbled accross this spot in 05' during a trip to the Bay with Jeff Jank.  It looks like a whole in the wall spot, with a small bar.  But what makes this spot great is the chef Roger, who works behind the bar.  Roger orders fresh fish daily & has it flown in from all over the world.  He'll go off about how the Albacore he just served you was just delivered from New Zealand; better yet, the white fish from Japan.  If you ever do get a chance, check it out.  Call for a reservation so you can sit @ the bar; helps if you call a few days in advance for this
