‘…Africa ? We can not ignore Africa it is a big place…’ G.W.Bush

As the departing President makes a whistle-stop tour of Africa, & cleverly side steps the hot spots & sends Condee to deal with Kenya & other such places of Conflict. It seems to me an after thought, a last vacation for an unwanted Ambassador.

He talks of Unity & the strife of the African People & their struggle with aids, & that the American Charity & Care will not stop. But this for me is a smoke screen. He is fighting the Republican Cause, by championing Aids Relief.

You see the Democrats are trying to pass a bill that would move One third of US Aids Relief into Educating the People in the ways of Contraception & Abstinence. OK that may be nice, but that does not help the Existing Aids Sufferers, they still need medication & this bill will take one 3rd of the US supply away.

How is that good ? Or is it a case of ‘fuck it they have it let them die & lets concentrate on those that do not…’

It seems a little callous, & let us not get started on the over exaggerated prices of said medication, it is cheaper in the West then it is in 3rd world countries…why is that ? I need to look into that further, but it is pretty fucked up.

I would at this point give Bush a serious verbal bashing right about now, bit for once…I cannot…Damn.

But it is a little late in the day to start showing some love for Africa…that ‘Big Place’ that you cannot ignore.

Cannot wait for this man to be gone & we start with the New…Good or Bad, change is good.
