We've been settling in the new premises very comfortably. Things are in movement mode and it's full speed ahead, Baal loves the large Garden space to run in, our previous location as he was growing up over the 1 year got way too small for him! So we're all snug, happy and good.
Response for the new Season 5 has been phenomenal, we thank all interested parties that have contacted us, we apologise if we've not gotten to you as we only have 2 people in our crew and Mandy is smashing to get back to all of you asap. I keep finding it quite funny how most people have the misinterpretation of us being a huge brand when in actual fact, we're just 2 artists using tee's as our canvases, no interns, no assistants, no bling-bling, heh heh. We're scheduled to have our lookbook shots done over the next 2 weeks followed by an official launch here on Slam, teasers of the new products should go up pretty soon.... i hope! We also have some interesting happenings to move forward with on European and Japanese shores that should come to light in short time to come.
As in seasonal fashion i'll blog up our production/silkscreen process, details, changes, etc. over the next few weeks! In the meantime if you've read the last Slam Newsletter: Very interesting read up on BKRW and the current state of our culture. Like anything I guess, this is never good practise, as with learning a skill you should master the basics before advancing, and so on. At the same time, you can't blame these business owners, they are working within an era that is offering many oppurtunities and merely want to take advantage, whether they will be around in 10 years time, is another question,..."
Oh... if you're in the area our buddies, Steven Vogel, She One & Fatsarazzi are invited to speak here:
