Born in the bay area in 1970 and raised in the Lower East Side of Manhattan Mr. Ross has produced records for the likes of Brand Nubians, 3rd Bass, Grand Puba, ODB, Everlast, and Santana whom he earned a Grammy for in 2000. Ross has scored films and national add campaigns besides being one of the architects of the so called golden age of hiphop where he was the A+R person behind Pete Rock and C.l. RUBICON SUN

Posted by DANTE ROSS on January 17, 2008 5:38 PM | Email

2 of my favorite artist right here Doze green and David Eliis came together and created Rubicon Sun an exhibition in San Francisco at Upper Playgrounds Fifty24 sf gallery. I living in New York did not get to attend the show but found these images online and felt like they were amazing and needed to be seen. Barntormers represent! Upper Playground is always doing somethig dope and here's another example....

Doze Green and David Ellis....This looks Doze driven but I'm just speculating

These look more David Eliis driven to me Amazing stuff

David Ellis is an amazing sculpture.....He creates interactive pieces that are mind blowing......Check his sight out to fully undertsand what I'm talking about!

Doze Green Left and David Skwerm Ellis on the right

Doze Green driven I think..... Not sure of the creative process of the show but I do know I love the end result!

Classic Doze Green style aided by David Ellis....These guys can both really paint

More work!

More work...Another angle on an amazing painting!

Another amazing piece....Glad I copped a Doze painting in like 99.....he's increasingly collectable.....

Doze Green and David Ellis 2 Barnstormers and some of the reasons street art does work in gallerys and beyond......Thanks wish I had seen it in the flesh!

Wish this had been shown in NYC so I could have experienced the work in person but alas I didn't.....Regardless congrats the Doze and David Ellis the work is inspiring and beautiful.....Thanks

Enjoy it people....Art it's good for the soul!
