From PSFK: "In 2007 digital SLRs sales grew by about 42% and althouh 2008 should see a slow down, growth will still reach 22%....", The PSFK item was posted with reference to the fact that much of this surge can be put down to the camera as a fashion item, i saw this in the morning today, kept it on my desktop as I thought it was interesting, but wasn't sure how true this was. I left the office and within 5mins had seen atleast 6 'cool kids' with cameras.. Im not kidding! with the fear of using a small cluster sample as my firm knowledge of this... I'm pretty sure the PSFK article is indeed heading down the right track. Is it the photography thats 'cool' or just wearing the camera? Thats potentially the scary thing..
