Hockney has announced when he passes he will leave some of his most prized pieces and a number of them at that to public collections, such as that of London's Tate. The gifts include his famous 'Bigger Trees Near Warter', a landscape painted in East Yorkshire a year ago which covers 50 separate canvasses and measures 14ft by 40ft... Hockney is one of my favourite artists and one of my favourite icons.. seem's like hes a pretty generous guy too..
