Good Bye Japanese Bid services

Posted by Adam Bryce on December 05, 2007 3:15 AM | Email

"By next March, consumers in Japan will be able to use the Yahoo Japan site to bid for items sold on eBay in the U.S. eBay customers in the U.S. will get a channel to buy stuff from the Yahoo Japan site by the middle of next year. A separate site, called Sekaimon (“Door to the World”), will help translate items on eBay into Japanese as well as simplify the process of overseas shipping and customs."

Thats right! in an effort to better both sides of this deal, especially after Ebay's failed attempts in the post, Japan's Yahoo Auctions and the US's Ebay will interlock to enable in effect a giant marketplace.

Think of all that good vintage and japanese exclusive product that will be on tap!
