Hermès the French fashion company collaborated with Eurocopter, the world's third largest aerospace group to design, and create L'Helicoptre par Hermès, a full on luxury helicopter. The new helicopter was first shown at the National Business Aviation Association's 2007 conference in Atlanta. The helicopter is based on the eurocopter EC 135. Hermès chose designer Gabriele Pezzini to work on the helicopter with the eurocopter engineers. Customized graphics adorn the side of the helicopter. The ceiling and floor of the cabin are upholstered in Hermès 'toile h' canvas, and the helicopter's cockpit is upholstered in black leather. Detailings also include coat hooks, reading lights, a center console, and custom jacquard safety signs. The landing gear is also redesigned. Thanks to Designboom for the details and pictures.
