Having witnessed a number of impressive commercials from Nike for soccer, the latest which has aired just in time for Euro 2008 would have to be the best so far. Nike premiered its new commercial during Manchester United victory over Barcelona at Old Trafford and news that the ad was directed by Madonna’s boo Guy Ritchie with music from the Eagles of Death Metal was welcome info. Entitled “Take It To The Next Level" the commercial features a number of names who adorn the swoosh from Arsene Wenger, Cristiano Ronaldo, William Gallas, Cesc Fabregas, Marco Materazzi, Ronaldinho, Real Madrid Dutch dup Wesley Schneider and Ruud van Nistelrooy. Check out the impressive depiction of a player startin from the bottom and now living the dream of playing with the stars of today, wearing Nike ofcourse.
