Hiking-style shoes seem to have been recovering popularity recently, and one of the best takes on the style comes in the form of the New Balance 754 model. The 754 is based on a boot used by the first American team to climb the north face of Everest, but don’t worry, it still looks good on those of us who live a more sedentary lifestyle. Here’s a preview of two new versions which feature leather uppers offset by a pop of colour on the midsole and tongue. These leather versions take the smartness up a notch from the previous nubuck/mesh models and will be available in September this year.
