Burton X Gomes

Posted by Will on April 18, 2008 2:26 PM | Email

Alongside their collaboration with Futura and the mouth-watering Playboy boards (see here for more), Burton are also set to release a new board designed by Gomes. Gomes is the alter ego of German artist Stefan Marx, who is best known for his clothing label Lousy Livincompany and his work for the skate brand Cleptomanicx. The Gomes 'G-Twin' model features a riotous landscape of hand-drawn images and type on both the top and base of the board in Marx's signature humourous style. Since this is the ever-dependable Burton, you can expect the board's performance to be as good as its looks. The G-Twin will be available from mid-September at Burton retailers worldwide.
