Foot the Coacher is a label based on the philisophy of delivering excellent detailing to products inspired by various historical and cultural articles. First off, the T is not high-impact, an 80's setting, I like it, it's fine. The shoes look familiar, these Clarks look-alikes are truely intelligent and to the connosieur it also contains blends of rockabilly "Creepers", the frankenstein type shoe brought back by the Sex Pistols and Punk fans alike. You can see the intricate wingtip style patterns on the leather detailing around the mouth of the shoe. Both high and low versions are truely impressive, and these cannot be put in the "imitation" category but in the "ingeneous" one. An excellent fusion of two shoes from the same era, but from contrasting cultures. The same goes for the wing-tipped army boot, with the rockabilly influenced flat sole. These are really great. A little bit of "Brittania" punk fusion for you as opposed to the usual early 20th century Americana "rebel" styles we see all the time. It is a blend of 50's 60's and 80's all in one.
