Chris Johanson who creates impressive bright, flat work referencing other illistrations of folk art is currently on show at Jack Hanley gallery. One of the most identifiable characters of the contemporary art scene in San Fransisco Johanson is well known for his often political, always social installations with his honest depictions of many aspects which in life which are up for debate. Well worth checking out this exhibition that includes much more thought provoking work from Johanson's with his strong prospective well implicated, the exhibition runs until April 12.

Thanks to Dmote from the SlamxBlogs for the footage.
