Converse Kurt Cobain Collection

Posted by James on March 18, 2008 5:19 AM | Email

Converse have put together another fascinating collection as part of there continuing centennial celebrations, this latest work includes the legendary Kurt Cobain. Several different silhouttes have been made including at least one Converse One Star model and a series of Chuck Taylor high tops. The design elements for each of the shoes are taken from Cobain’s own drawings and writings that were published in the 2002 book Journals. This is a exciting release for many with Converse paying tribute to the iconic status of Kurt Cobain and Nirvana and more directly the grunge look which they really pioneered.
