Vampire Weekend are the talk of SXSW this year.   This is what Nick Abbott, sound editor for Rockfeedback had to say on The Wire:  "The show was short and tight…playing songs that in some way echo ‘graceland’ era Paul Simon. Afro town-ship guitars…strong melodies..this band cannot fail. We covered the set well with 3 cameras. There was an interveiw before the set. We find out later that the band had cancelled all press and filming other than  us. We feel pretty lucky to have documented a set that will be seen as a pretty major one for the band."
