Nakajima Dye Works

Nakajima Dye Works have been in business for 175 years! Only now though has 78 year old Yasuo Nakajima decided to take his family's seventh century pot dye techniques to his forst denim project, in the form of a denim brand entitled Tsurukichi, which appropriately means "longevity and prosperity". Only 42 pairs of jeans were made, the cotton was hand dyed in 315 spools. Tsurukichi jeans, around $500, due this June at Project No. 8, 138 Division St., NYC jeans, around $500, due this June at Project No. 8, 138 Division St., NYC
