This Thursday, March 6th will see the launch of Shawn Mortensen's NYC exhibition, featuring SUMO photo prints, paintings, collages, drawings, & multi-media works from the past 20 years, a retrospective of one of the most influential artists and photographers of our modern era.

The opening night will see for the first time ever Limited Edition digital PHOTO PRINTS (size 5ft x 3ft) featuring iconic artists portraits (Tupac, Biggie, Snoop, James Brown, Sonic Youth, Beastie Boys & others) from Shawn's new Harry Abrams book OUT OF MIND, available for sale!

Also offered are a few just discovered  SILKSCREEN PRINTS of TUPAC from his 2004 collaboration with SHEPARD FAIREY . Originally available in 2 versions; RED or BLUE colorways. Shawn found a few SETS with matching Edition #'s. These scarce prints SOLD OUT in 2004. The Prints Edition are #'d 300 each. Prints are SIGNED & NUMBERED by Shepard Fairey & Shawn Mortensen.

Shawn will also be releasing his self-published artist's book/zine: ERRORISM & WAR . This hand-made project is available in an Edition of 13. This book documents his historic artistic influences & catalogues the variety of multi-media artwork created since 2001.
