The Signal "A Refreshingly Original Indie Horror Film"

Posted by James on February 24, 2008 7:42 AM | Email

Shot by three separate directors this very epic and fascinating horror film, The Signal is set to premiere. Made in Atlanta the directors who include David Bruckner, Dan Bush and Jacob Gentry have put together this story about a sudden signal that comes over the television and phone lines that causes most people to become violent and homicidal with great acclaim. The film is broken up into three “Transmissions,” and while each section varies in tone, well put by Papermag as "from hair-raising horror to pitch-black splatter comedy", they mesh together with great distinction. The through story is basically a romantic threesome, Mya played by Anessa Ramsey, her dangerously jealous husband Billy played by A. J. Bowen and her new boyfriend Ben played by Justin Welburn who is desperately searching for her amidst the nightmarish carnage. This film is memorable right from the biginning and wil keep you on the edge of your seat right until the end. Check out the trailor below for a taste.
