One of the greatest punk rock acts to come out of the US hardcore scene of the early 1980s, Government Issue also outlasted may of their contemporaries, producing some of their most powerful music in the late 1980s with the albums YOU and CRASH. Initially signing to Ian MacKaye's now legendary label, Dischord Records in 1980, G.I. recorded six studio albums between 1983 and 1988. Look out for the upcoming, exclusive interview with Government Issue frontman and vocalist, John Stabb.
