Two new limited-edition colorways from 12Grain artist Sam Flores were released this week by Upper Playground and Ningyoushi Toys

Upper Playground, in association with 12Grain and Ningyoushi Toys, announced the exclusive release of Sam Flores' new Fatima Bird Headdress vinyl toy. Two versions of the Fatima toy were available with limited-release; a blue dress available through Ningyoushi.com, and purple dress available at the San Francisco location of Upper Playground and Upperplayground.com. The elaborate dress pattern and special headdressed toy was limited to 300 pieces of each colorway and retailed at $85.

The Fatima Bird Headdress vinyl toy was the perfect companion to the exotic characters and natural landscapes Flores is known for. Lush and meticulous, Flores' signature female Fatima figures found in his fine art are often draped in flowing gowns with over sized welcoming hands gracefully placed upon their laps. The Fatima toy captured the Flores' canvases in vinyl perfection. Sam wouldn't have it any other way.
