This well captured film includes some really great early footage of four former new york graffiti artists as they reflect on there teenage years of putting their mark on subway cars and escaping arrest while in the act. Recorded and directed by Manfred Kirchheimer for his underground classic Stations of the Elevated in 1980 the footage has been remastered put together in style.

Spray Masters is part of the MoMA's Film exhibition Documentary Fortnight, 2008 which includes the World premiere and discussion with Kirchheimer is Theater 2 (The Roy and Niuta Titus  Theater 2), T2. Ticketing policies for film screenings sign up now to receive MoMA's biweekly Film E-News
