Supertouch have posted some of the stunning art of Emory Douglas, one time Black Panther party Minister for Culture, which is currently being exhibited  at the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art (show runs until February 24th). Check it out here. Not only is Douglas' work a precursor to 'street' art, in style and in the way it disrupted the bland neutrality of public space, it also catalogued the spirit of an entire era. This is conviction art. Simple, bold and purposeful.
