Damian Hirst at Lever House

Posted by Adam on November 11, 2007 2:10 PM | Email

New York's Lever House commissioned Damian Hirst in January to create an installation of his signature works worth $10 million. The NYC Restaraunt, since a recent renovation has set up its lobby area fto play host to some of the most important artists of our time, including Jeff Koons and now Hirst, who's show launched on the 10th. The project, called School: The Archaeology of Lost Desires, Comprehending Infinity and the Search for Knowledge, includes several sheep, a bull, a shark, and a dove, all floating in formaldehyde. Thanks to Paul Mittleman at Honeyee for coverage from the exhibition.
